Jocular Super Jodi 'Krishna and Sudesh Lehri' perform at the event Chandigarh, March 17, 2013: It was an evening of celebration, fun and laughter at the Grand Finale ceremony of 'Connect Super Jodi' Contest. In a unique customer connect initiative, Connect, market leader in Wireline and Broadband business in Punjab provided a platform to the couples across Punjab to participate in the Connect Super Jodi contest and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.
Connect Super Jodi Contest goes with the tagline, "Kya Aap mein Hai who Connection?" The Connect Super Jodi Grand Finale is the culminating celebration of Chandigarh and Punjab-wide hunt to find the Super Jodi that has that 'CONNECTION'.
The discreteness of the Connect Super Jodi Contest was the fact that over 500 couples in the age group of 18 to 50 years participated. The response was tremendous where all participating couples prepared hard to qualify to the next round. After rigorous rounds of competitions conducted across the tricity and Punjab, 20 couples were shortlisted to contest for the grand city showdown.
The comedy super Jodi 'Krishna & Sudesh' made the evening more joyful by adding the LOL (laughing out loud) factors forcing the audience to hold their belly.
In the city to perform at the contest, the famous comedian and actor, Krishna said, "When I heard about the competition, it instantly clicked with me. And when I got to know it is in Chandigarh, I was all the more excited as I am always looking for an excuse to come to this beautiful city. Punjabis are famous for the warmth they exude and the love they spread everywhere they go. Connect Super Jodi contest is a classic example on how they celebrate this extraordinary feeling."
Adding to this, Krishna's partner in the comedy super Jodi, comedian and actor Sudesh Lehri said, "Considering the fast paced life that we all live these days, it is all the more important to celebrate love and life. It was fun to watch these real life couples participate in Connect Super Jodi contest. And coming all the way to Chandigarh to be a part of the event was the cherry on the cake for me. Truly, 'Punjabiya di shaan vakhri' ".

The Connect Super Jodi (Super Couple) Contest was conducted across Punjab, where interested couples were selected from each zone on basis of their performance from local round, which were further sent for City & Grand Finale as per filtrations. The couples were judged on the basis of their compatibility, unique talent and confidence.
The contest included competitions like ramp walk and talent rounds followed by an enthralling performance by the comedy super Jodi Krishna and Sudesh Lehri.
The winning couple of the contest won a trip to Phuket, while first runner up couple got a bike and the second runner up couple won a 32" LCD TV. All the participating couple received a gift worth Rs 3000 for participating. The participants were also given a free makeover.
